LeAnn gave us a beautiful combo this week! I love the combination of red with the Pool Party and the pink is a perfect addition.
I attended a retreat this weekend an I taught a session showing a couple of watercoloring techniques one of which I used here - using marker on an acrylic block and a blender pen. I used that mostly here, I have to admit that I also used a bit of the re-inker for the Petal Pink as it was coming out too light.
Another session at the retreat was making shaker cards so I thought I'd combine the two. I have said that Petal Pink is my least favorite shade of pink and floral DSP is not my favorite either. But I LOVE the floral Petal Pink background paper here! Who knew? I may be re-thinking my two previous assertions! LOL! Always good to keep an open mind.
I hope you will join us this week!

this is a beautiful card Jeanne - and I love that you made it a shaker card- creative idea- I hear you about the petal pink- I didn't buy the cardstock or inkpad because I wasn't fond of the color.

Jeanne, I so enjoyed your demo Saturday, you did a marvelous job! I watched every minute! This design is simply beautiful. I've yet to make all the Tic Tac Toe cards but have got a good start and plan to finish! I agree with you on the background paper here, it's an eye catcher for your beautiful focal point! TFS
